I am a published photographer.  This image was published in 2008 in a Coffee Table photography compilation called "Endless Journeys".  My picture was going to be featured weather I bought a copy of the book or not.  It was only $69.95 and I figured what the heck. (Can you say "SUCKER").

It also won me the distinction of being named one of the "2008 Amateur Photographers of the Year" by the International Photographers Society.  Of course, I refused to pay any fees for being honored with this award, and I did not attend the Yearly Expo in Las Vegas, NV to receive my award, and I refused to pay $150+ to have the award shipped to me, so it was probably all a scam trying to get my money.

I actually did receive a book.  Wow, was I surprised. The book has a  very nice appearance, is well bound and heavy duty.  The pages are a high gloss thick paper.  The pictures in this "treasure of a lifetime" are of the most amateur-ish crap that could be published.  While there are a few pictures that are worthy of being published, there are many that I am appalled that someone would even have posted to a website to be shared with family.

I received an email this evening that is honoring me as an "Editors Choice" photographer. (Here are a few excerpt's from the email)

"The editors of the International Library of Photography were thrilled to inform you that your photo was honored with the prestigious Editor's Choice Award because of your artistic accomplishments and unique perspective--characteristics found in the most noteworthy photographic works."

Yes these too can be yours for only $19.95 and $49.95.  If you buy the $49.95 Commemorative Bronze Medallion they will include the Ribbon Award pin absolutely free.  This is such a joke, but hey, I will definitely add to my resume that I am a Published Photographer, "2008 Amateur Photographer of the Year Award" recipient and now "2008 Editor's Published Photographer Choice Award" recipient.

Believe me my rates are not REASONABLE, nor am I priced for the average person.  My photographic abilities and skills are of such high value and unique insight that I can make even the most distinguished family look absolutely hideous.
