Well was back in good ol' Las Vegas November 18th - November 23rd.   Video gaming was very nice to me but the table games ate my lunch :*(

Stayed at Caesar's Palace this trip with my wife and another couple.  Rooms were very nice, but damn are they proud of em. . .Found a nice little nugget of a hotel to stay at call The M Resort.  It is unfortunately 14 miles south of the strip...but is NICE! and low cost with great food and a terrific spa.  Anyway, will cover that in a later post.

First night went out with a close friend to Harrah's and sat in the Toby Keith Party pit playing blackjack for about 4 hours.  The next day we went out to The Egg and I to eat, then took a quick trip over to Red Rock Canyon after which we headed to Downtown to start gaming some.

At Main Street Salon and Casino, I hit a 4 of kind of 3's with a kicker for 800 credits.  We left there and went to Golden Nugget where my wife won 29,500 credits on penny Star Wars game (yes that is $295.00).  After this we moved on over to the El Cortez to check in to my free room and eat on some free food credits + comp $'s I have accumulated.  If you want a nice steak, I highly recommend eating at The Flame in the El Cortez.

Next day I go to Harrah's after eating with friends at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville.  I start out nice and slow and hit a Wild Royal Flush (3 Deuces + Ace Clubs and King Clubs) for 125 credit payout.  Three minutes later I hit a second wild Royal being dealt a Wild Two, Ace of Spades, King of Spades and a second Wild Two with an off card . . . on the hit I get 10 of spadesfor another 125 credit payout.  About 10 minutes later I hit a lousy Five-of-a-Kind eights for 80 credits.  Six minutes later I get the hand I have been dreaming of . . . on the deal I get the Jack, Ace, Queen, King of spades with Ace of Diamonds off card . . . of course I kept the 4 to the Royal and was given the 10 of spades to complete the Royal Flush no Deuces for a payout of 4000 credits ($1,000).  I actually did do a double take to make sure what I was seeing was really the Ten of Spades and not the Ten of Clubs.  I sat there smiling like a fool.  Waiting for my friend to come back over.

Throughout the rest of the trip I got several 4 of kinds, some Full Houses and generally returned almost 2:1 or better on video games.  It is a good thing I did, because that paid for me to lose at the tables.  Damn, but this was a rough trip at the tables.  Anyway,  will share some other things later when I get the time to post em...take care
