Sunday February 21st was a great day for Video Poker at Main Street Station in Las Vegas.
We started at the bar where I hit a Royal Flush on the 25 cent progressive's paying out $1,086.19 Yeah I know, not much of a progressive, the Royal Progressive was hit earlier in the morning so this was the second of the day. It was a strange hand. I had junk... I mean I had J - U - N - K... I held a Jack of Clubs trying to get the paying pair for even money. Instead the machine deals me 4 to the Royal Flush. It scared me because I held the Jack and pressed the draw button and the machine immediately flashed "CALL ATTENDANT"...I thought the machine had fritz'ed in the middle of the draw and had somehow broke. After about a 3-4 second delay it started playing the winning music and I looked closer at the cards beneath the flashing "CALL ATTENDANT" message. ROYAL FLUSH. Damn I was surprised. I guess when it is time to hit, it will hit. This is my second Royal now...the first coming during my November trip last year at Harrah's.
Our group went over to the restaurant there in Main Street for a late lunch and had a very excellent meal. The food was very, very good. Quantities were large. Prices were respectable. For a quick bite at lunch I highly recommend visiting the Main Street Micro-Brewery Restaurant.
After lunch we wandered over to some 100% payback machines. The machine I sat at was very very nice. I hit a ton of hands, quickly doubling my money in a very short time span.

With tons of paying pairs, two pairs, straights and flushes interspersed. Only got 1 Full House. But basically in 1 hour went from $100 buy-in to $225 cash out. Put in another $100 and cashed out around $150.
Added like 4,500 points to my players club account to boot. So overall was a good day. Really had Fun....
