3 1/2 days, back home for 2 days and then back to Vegas for 4 days. BACK TO BACK TRIPS!
First trip out will be a fun trip with 5 guys staying at the old stalwart and trusty El Cortez. Get to try the new Cabana Suites, see what they are like.
Food and Beverage Director John Civitello was interviewed recently for Las Vegas Sun. Food at the Cortez has always been great. The Matza Ball soup at the Kitty's Cafe (yes, I know it has been renamed to the Cortez Cafe) is fantastic. Best sour stomach from drinking too much the night before cure you can find in Vegas. Of course we also enjoy Roberta's Steakhouse, now named The Flame.

Might enter the Bada Bing Blackjack Tournament August 28 - 30, 2009. $500 buy-in but $50,000 1st place pot with good prizes down to 6th place and 7th - 26th place all get their entry fee back.
Other than that just fun, fun fun. Then the next week will return with just my wife and stay at Encore. This very RED Wynn take-off has a nice casino where the staff has always been friendly the few times I have been in to gamble the past few trips. Now I will get to see how nice the rooms are and enjoy some SPA time, good stream room in the morning to cleanse the system is always relaxing. Not much planned for this trip as my wife will be attending seminars and I will be there to protect and server, hopefully :wink: :wink:.
